Time Adventurer Nix was exploring the past looking for sustainability secrets. Unfortunately he ran afoul of a crew of pirates! Now the past is changed and the timeline itself is threatened. Your team must travel to the 1700s in order to prevent disaster. Explore the pirate ship, solve their cryptic riddles, and fix the future!
WHAT IS THIS?
This is Secrets of the Past, a hybrid live/digital escape room pirate game for both solo players and groups. In a group you can play either remotely or together. Players direct a live “Avatar” time-operative to solve puzzles and interact in the room, and may also explore through a digital interface.
HOW CAN I PLAY?
You can play on a desktop, laptop or mobile device but we recommend using a desktop or laptop.
WHEN CAN I PLAY?
While purchasing you will be directed to our booking calendar where you will see availability. Our pricing and availability are based in part on our location in Finland, but you can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to make a booking outside our standard availability.
HOW WILL THE GAME BEGIN?
You will be sent a link you can share with your teammates. Once you follow the link you will be able to initiate a Zoom call, and our time-operative will begin the game for you.
HOW LONG IS THE GAME?
The average length of gameplay has been about 90 minutes.
WHAT AGES IS THE GAME SUITABLE FOR?
The game has some thrilling elements, so we don’t recommend the game for children under 12 years of age.
WHAT IS THE DIFFICULTY LEVEL OF THE GAME?
The puzzles are challenging, however if needed hints can be provided.

CAN I PLAY ALONE?
Yes, this game can be played by one person, however it is recommended to play with 2-3 as a minimum to maximize enjoyment.
CAN I PLAY WITH FRIENDS REMOTELY?
Yes, your game link will contain a Zoom link so that you can have multiple players connecting from different locations.
CAN I PLAY WITH FRIENDS IN THE SAME PLACE?
Yes, you can hook up your computer to a TV or projector and play together in the same place.
IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD KNOW?
– You will only be playing with your own team, you won’t be playing with strangers.
– You will need a notepad and pen to write down notes.
